PROFILE

Professor, Department of Stage Design, Central Academy of Drama; Recipient of the Special Government Allowance of the State Council; President of the China Institute of Stage Design; Vice President of the International Organisation of Scenographers, Theatre Architects and Technicians (OISTAT); Honorary Chairman of the China Alliance for Stage Design Education.

Engaged in stage art creation and teaching for a long time. He has been awarded the titles of Outstanding Undergraduate Teaching Administrator of Beijing Universities, Excellent Teacher of Beijing, Leader of Outstanding Teaching Team of Beijing Universities, Distinguished Teacher of Beijing, and Talent of Beijing “Four Batches”. He has received numerous honors and awards, including the first batch of National First-Class Undergraduate Courses, the Golden Lion Award for Chinese Drama, and the Outstanding Stage Design Award at the First Opera Festival hosted by the former Ministry of Culture.
