Stage Designer (Grade II), Creative Center, China Oriental Performing Arts Group; Special Research Fellow at the Yale School of Drama, Doctor of Arts (currently enrolled). Previously studied at the Affiliated High School of the Central Academy of Fine Arts, Beijing Dance Academy, and the Yale School of Drama. Member of the China Opera Research Society, Member of the Chinese Dramatists Association, and Senior Member of the China Stage Art Society.
Awards and Honours:
The immersive theater production “Beiping 1948” was awarded the Silver Prize for Stage Design at the 6th World Stage Design Exhibition (WSD2025).
Participated in the creation of works that have received the Ministry of Culture’s Wenhua Award, the National Stage Art Excellence Project Award, the National Stage Art Excellence Creation Project Award, and twice the Five-One Project Award; twice the Beijing Municipal Literary and Art Award; China Drama Association’s Golden Lion Award for Drama; Outstanding Production Award at the Third China Children’s Theatre Festival; Second Prize for Outstanding Original Production at the Sixth Beijing Cultural Innovation Competition; and eleven national-level Certificates of Individual Honour.

- Commissioned by Yale School of Music to create the opera La Bohème and the musical Cinderella;
- Zhang Yimou’s Peking Opera film Farewell My Concubine;
- Feng Xiaogang’s immersive location film Night King City;
- Chen Weiya’s epic spectacle The Great Journey;
- Immersive performance Fire Show;
- Wang Chaoge’s immersive theatre Only Henan: The Theatre Fantasy City.
Chief Editor of the Chinese Society of Stage Design’s anthology Chinese Stage Design 2011–2020, featuring five design works: the open-air productions Fire Show and The Great Dream of Zhongshan; the plays Encountering Beethoven and Nine Reflections; and the touring production of the children’s play The Child Who Wished to Fly.
