Education

1976–1982: A. Kutateladze Tbilisi State Academy of Arts, Decorative Craft Faculty. Qualification: Artist-Technologist, artistic decoration of textile and light industry production.

Professional Experience

  • 2002–present: A. Kutateladze Tbilisi State Academy of Arts, Faculty of Design (fashion, costume and textile design), Assistant Professor / Associate Professor. Creation of textile surface design by various technologies: felt, shibori, quilt, collage, print, application and ebru; teaching practical and theoretical courses in technology by individual programs; artistic design of textiles and their realisation in material; teaching composition, material realisation and colour graphics; supervising diploma works.
  • 1993–present: Georgian Textile Group G.T.G. Textile Art Center (NGO), artist and educational program team leader: educational programs, workshops and trainings, organisation of symposia, program promotion and monitoring in educational institutions.
  • 1988–1996: architectural and design firm “Techtonics”, art team leader and technical supervisor: interior design, decorative work.
  • 1987–1993: A. Kutateladze Tbilisi State Academy of Arts, art laboratory, textile artist.

  • 2017: supervisor of the student diploma project “Print Art Fashion Installation”, Print International Festival, within Life N Style, Wine Factory
