This international event provides a dynamic platform for professional exchange,<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">visibility, and collaboration within the global stage design community.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Due to ongoing military conflicts in the Middle East, the deadline for submitting<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">applications has been extended to <b>1 May 2026<\/b>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><b>About the Tbilisi Biennale of Stage Design<\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Founded in 2016, the Tbilisi Biennale of Stage Design has established itself as a<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">significant international platform supporting both emerging and established stage<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">designers. Organized by the Valerian Gunia Union of Young Theatre Artists, the<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Biennale fosters professional development, cross-cultural dialogue, and international<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">networking through exhibitions, forums, symposia, and educational programmes,<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">including MasterLab.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><b>Key Activities<\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">\u2022 International Exhibition of National and Professional Expositions (Mixed formats- in &#8211;<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">person\/online, including photography and video, are accepted)<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">\u2022 Open Forum \/ Tbilisi International Symposium (Themes: \u201cWar and Theatre\u201d and<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">\u201cTheatre and Fashion\u201d)<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">\u2022 Educational Programme \u2013 MasterLab (Lectures and masterclasses; to be confirmed)<span class=\"s3\"><b>General Information<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Theme: <b>Theatre and Fashion<\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Biennale dates: <b>6\/7\u201317 October 2026<\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">\u2022 Each participating country will be represented by a national pavilion.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">\u2022 Each pavilion is curated and coordinated by a national curator, responsible for selecting<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">participating artists.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">\u2022 National curators oversee the organization of their country\u2019s exposition.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><b>Eligibility Criteria for Participants<\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">\u2022 Minimum 3 years of professional experience in theatre, cinema, television, multimedia<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">scenography, or video games<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">\u2022 Participation of artists must be coordinated through national curators<\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><b>Eligibility Criteria for Works<\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">\u2022 Works must have been realized or premiered between <b>2024\u20132026<\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">\u2022 Accepted formats include (but are not limited to): sketches, photographs, performances,<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">videos, animations, installations, multimedia scenography, costumes, scale models,<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">puppets, etc.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">\u2022 International participants are encouraged to present original sketches.
