Three years later, she completed postgraduate studies in Culture Management at the Higher School of Social Sciences in Poznań. Since 2012 she has been working at the Magdalena Abakanowicz University of the Arts in Poznań in the Stage Design Studio at the Faculty of Interior and Stage Design. In 2019 she defended her doctoral dissertation in Stage Design. Due to her interest in the technical aspect of the projects, she was invited to teach Presentation Drawing, which she has been doing since 2019.

During her studies she gained professional experience working in Poznań theatres and participated in festivals, workshops and costume shows. For several years she has been creating theatrical, advertising and film set designs and conducting stage design workshops.

Her artistic interests are activities with light, multiplication and movement. For several years she has been introducing 3D printing, 3D graphics, motor skills and action systems from the frontier of robotics into her artistic practice.

1618
Art installation

An art installation inspired by comets that appeared in 1618, visible to the naked eye and first observed through an astronomical telescope. Their added value was the fact that they appeared one after another, in rapid succession.

The installation depicts three metaphorical comets enclosed in geometric forms. The comet heads are made of tulle, emphasizing their subtle, almost immaterial, ice-rock structure, from which dust and gases are released upon approaching stars. Transparent threads emerge from the center of the form more freely, deconstructing matter.

The objects interact with light, highlighting various textures, matte and glossy. They also generate shadows and reflections. The objects are equipped with internal LEDs, which can further illuminate them from within, enhancing the sense of movement and the release of matter. This is an artistic “experiment” in freezing a moving object in time and form.

jQuery(document).ready(function($) { if(typeof(gg_galleries_init) == "function") {gg_galleries_init("6ae1ed592b111");
