Introduction to the “The Visit”
The Return of the Old Lady reveals the hypocritical nature behind the “humanitarianism” claimed by capitalist society through the story of a noblewoman returning to her hometown to avenge her old lover. The author uses comic plots and tragic characters to create a humorous effect, reflecting the moral decline of people who sacrifice other people’s lives for money, and revealing the root cause of the world tragedy.
This performence is a 2018 undergraduate program of the Director Department. It is realistic in stage lighting design, highlighting the sense of making old photos old, and intends to create a retro atmosphere.
