Aleksandra Wawrzyniak
I am a student at the Magdalena Abakanowicz University of Arts in Poznan. I study the direction of artistic graphics. I have been interested in scenography for a long time. For this reason I have joined the scenography studio led by prof. dr hab. Katarzyna Podgórska-Glonti and MA Marta Wyszyńska.
The most important thing for me in creating scenography is working with light. I like to use light to bring out new areas of space, to expose them. I find it interesting to introduce sculptural forms as the main elements of stage design. In the future I would like to create stage paintings. Not just spaces that you look at, but spaces that you are in and can explore. Images and sounds that surround the viewer and reveal a mystery to them.
