Kseniya Dubiashchuk
University of Arts in Poznań – Stage Design Studio, BA 2st year Curators, lectors: prof. dr hab. Katarzyna Podgórska-Glonti, dr Marta Wyszyńska. I am inspired by the fact that set designers do not just decorate performances, but create their own extraordinary worlds. I am inspired by Es Devlin’s works because she covers many creative fields, including music, opera, art, theater and technology. I also love the works of Miroslav Kaczmarek, a true veteran of modern scenography. Kaczmarek’s projects are bright and contrasting, they seem to truly challenge the viewer. The artist prefers decisive gestures, which is what I really like in his works
I helped in the realization of costumes for the play “Ach the koty” at the theate “Cortiqué” Anny Niedźwiedź in Poznań
I also worked as a volunteer at the Belarusian State Musical Theater in Minsk. I helped in the implementation of the set design to the ballet “James and the Giant Peach” by Ekaterina Shimanovich in 2019.
